I took this course because its been very challenging for me lately to focus on any projects and my home life, which caused me to procrastinate in a lot of things. By following the gentle and very clear curriculum that Viv has put together, i find mycelf being more aware of when I’m mindful, in the now or when my mind is driving me to the past or future without me even noticing.

Before doing the mindfulness programme I had been meditating without any particular guidance.
I would sit in silence for about 20 minutes trying to calm and slow my mind down to no thought which was a very difficult task to do as I thought this was the objective when meditating.
Doing the mindfulness programme has now equipped me with valuable tools which will help me when meditating.
I now use techniques such as the full body scan to help me relax, focusing on my breath and just observing my thoughts and letting them go without any judgment. I am able to focus more, being in the presence and go deeper into my meditations practises.
